Set Up - Pro Tip: Linking and Duplicating Modifiers

There is an added tool that lets you repeat the process of adding modifiers  easily. Once you have created a modifier, the next time you click the “Add Modifier Button” you will be able to search through existing modifiers in the "Find Existing Modifiers" search bar. This is really helpful if multiple items on your menu have the same or similar add ons.

Once you select an existing modifier it will give you two options, one will be to link modifier to item, the other will be to duplicate the modifier. What does this mean?

Link modifier to item: copies the exact same modifier as the one you used on previous item, however, any changes you make to the modifiers will affect all other items that is linked to. This feature is great if all your add ons and price modifiers are the same and you have don’t have any variations in price or name.

Duplicate modifier:  copies the exact same modifier as the one you used on previous item, however, any changes you make to the modifiers will not affect any other items. This is ideal when the type of modifiers are the same but the prices or the names of the options may vary. Example: Almond milk might cost $0.70 when it is an add on for coffee but $1.00 if it is the add on for chocolate milk.
