Refunds/Voids - How to void a transaction

 A void completely removes a transaction as if it did not exist. You can only do this while the station is still open and before midnight. There should be no references of this Void in the Nōwn reports, with the exception of a void count in the Nown End Shift report.

  • In order to void a transaction you need to be on the home screen of the POS. Once there, a list of all transactions completed while the station has been open will be shown in a column on the right hand side.
  • Click on the arrow beside the transaction in question in order to expand the field.

  • Once the field is expanded press the "Void" button. You will be required to enter a reason for the void and your PIN (if you have enhanced security turned on).
