Scanner - Keyboard Won't Show Up When Scanner is Connected

Step 1: ensure that the keyboard is turned on in the iPad settings.

• Go to Settings
• Click on General
• Select Keyboard
• Ensure all toggles are set to ON

Step 2: if the keyboard is enabled then there is a little bar that shows up at the bottom of the screen when you click on a field where you're supposed to type. To bring up the keyboard, simply press and hold the down arrow found in the bottom right hand corner and the keyboard will come up!
